Order Period & Confirmation
BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR AN EMAIL FROM OUR TEAM @ SOFIA BADAR WITH YOUR COMPLETE ORDER DETAILS. PLEASE INFORM US WITHIN 10 DAYS IF ANY CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE — IN WRITING VIA EMAIL OR BY VISITING OUR STUDIO IN PERSON.
The “order period” begins once a 50% advance payment is made at the time of purchase and continues until the customer receives the completed garment after full payment.
You will receive a detailed Order Confirmation from Sofia Badar via email after we receive your advance payment and the filled and signed order form (by both the customer and designer).
It is the customer’s responsibility to review the confirmation and notify the team at Sofia Badar within 10 days (via email or an in-person visit) if any corrections or changes are needed before the order goes into production. If no notification is received within the mentioned time frame, the order will be considered final and approved. Once confirmed, no changes can be made to design, size, color, or style.
Payment & Fees
IF YOU’VE PAID A DEPOSIT, PLEASE BE PREPARED TO PAY THE REMAINING BALANCE AS SOON AS YOUR OUTFIT IS READY FOR COLLECTION.
A 70% deposit is required at the time of purchase, inclusive of any applicable taxes and fees.
Additional charges may apply for size adjustments, custom fabrics, or urgent orders.
Large sizes (L) will incur a 10% additional charge.
Extra Large (XL) and above will incur a 15% additional charge.
Delivery in a premium breathable garment bag is complimentary. However, additional packaging (such as custom boxes or extra bags) may incur extra charges at the designer’s discretion.
All additional requests must be made in writing or via email — verbal communication (including calls or text messages) will not be considered valid. The remaining balance must be paid in full before collection or delivery.
Shipping and delivery fees, whether local or international, will be based on the customer’s selected logistics provider and delivery destination.
All Made To Order Outfits Only Are Non Refundable
ALL OUTFITS ARE MADE-TO-ORDER AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE RETURNED, EXCHANGED, OR REFUNDED — REGARDLESS OF ANY CHANGE IN EVENT PLANS OR CANCELLATIONS.
Each piece by Sofia Badar is handcrafted specifically for you. Once an order is placed and payment received, all sales are final.
Sofia Badar does not offer refunds for canceled events, weddings, or any change in circumstances.
Photo & Marketing Release
SINCE WE COMMUNICATE PRIMARILY THROUGH EMAIL OR TEXT, IT IS IMPORTANT TO REMAIN ON OUR MARKETING LISTS THROUGHOUT YOUR ORDER PERIOD.
By placing an order, you grant Sofia Badar and its authorized representatives permission to photograph or film your participation in fittings, studio visits, or deliveries. These images may be used for promotional or marketing purposes across print, digital, or social media platforms without additional compensation.
You may revoke this authorization at any time in writing. Please note that remaining subscribed to our marketing lists ensures you receive timely notifications about order updates, pickups, or delivery tracking.
Color Selection
FABRIC SWATCHES AND SAMPLES ARE INTENDED AS GUIDELINES. SLIGHT COLOR VARIATIONS MAY OCCUR DUE TO DIFFERENT DYE LOTS OR LIGHTING CONDITIONS.
Sofia Badar is not responsible for slight variations between fabric swatches, samples, and the final garment. We strongly encourage customers to visit our studio to review fabrics and colors in person before finalizing an order.
Please note that colors viewed online may appear differently depending on your device screen or lighting.
Sizing & Measurements
OUR DESIGNER WILL RECOMMEND A SIZE BASED ON YOUR MEASUREMENTS, BUT THE FINAL DECISION IS YOURS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WEIGHT FLUCTUATIONS OR MEASUREMENTS TAKEN OUTSIDE OUR STUDIO.
Measurements are taken by the designer or a trained team member during your appointment.
If the customer cannot visit our studio, we recommend being professionally measured by a trusted tailor. However, Sofia Badar cannot be held responsible for sizing or fit issues arising from measurements not taken in our studio.
Any change requests must be submitted in writing or via email — phone calls or texts will not be accepted as valid communication.
Alterations
ALTERATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FREE OF COST WITHIN 5 WEEKS OF PURCHASE. AFTER THAT PERIOD, ADDITIONAL CHARGES WILL APPLY.
While our garments are cut according to your specific measurements, we offer complimentary alteration services for up to two months after the purchase date.
Beyond that, alterations will be charged based on the scope of work.
Dye Lot Guarantee & Production Schedule
TO ENSURE COLOR CONSISTENCY FOR GROUP ORDERS, WE HOLD ALL ORDERS UNTIL EVERY MEMBER OF THE PARTY HAS SUBMITTED THEIR ORDER.
Fabric dye lots can vary slightly. To maintain consistency, group or party orders are processed together and may follow the production schedule of the last submitted order.
Sofia Badar is not responsible for minor dye variations between garments, even within the same party order.
Estimated Delivery / Ship Dates
DELIVERY DATES ARE ESTIMATED. PLEASE ALLOW SUFFICIENT TIME FOR DELIVERY AND FINAL ALTERATIONS.
Production timeline depends on the nature of product.
Delays may occur due to holidays, weather, fabric availability, or logistics.
Pret - 2 WeeksÂ
Luxury Pret - 4 WeeksÂ
Made To Order - 8 to 12 WeeksÂ
Pick Up
YOU’LL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WHEN YOUR ORDER IS READY FOR PICKUP. WE RECOMMEND TRYING YOUR OUTFIT ON AT THE STUDIO BEFORE TAKING IT HOME.
Orders will only be released once full payment is received.
We allot a 15-minute appointment for pickups to ensure any concerns are addressed immediately.
Orders not picked up within 21 days of notification will become the property of Sofia Badar, and no refund will be provided.
If you appoint someone else to collect on your behalf, a written authorization with your signature is required.
Shipping
PLEASE ENSURE YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS IS SAFE AND THAT YOU OPEN YOUR PACKAGE IMMEDIATELY UPON ARRIVAL.
All shipments require full payment before dispatch.
A signature is required upon delivery for your protection unless otherwise waived by you (though we do not recommend it).
Sofia Badar is not responsible for lost or damaged packages, or for customers who move without updating their address.
You must inspect your order within 3 days of receipt and notify our team of any issues immediately.
Final Sale
ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND LEGALLY BINDING.
By submitting your order form, you acknowledge and agree to all the terms and conditions stated in this contract. You agree to pay the full invoice amount as per the agreed payment method.
